A lovely hotel but I would rate it 4* not 5*. The staff were very helpful & the housekeeping excellent. The bar prices are high. There were no sanitary bags in the bathrooms, not that it affected me but it would for a lot of younger women. The evening entertainment was quite good; the highlight was the Greek folklore entertainment. The Spa was lovely, the pool warm but treatments equal to UK prices. The choice at breakfast was good but the evening meal was not what I consider 5*. There is a small buffet behind the downstairs beach bar that was very reasonable for lunches. Advise to get a taxi to Kontokali village where there are tavernas cheaper than the hotel. Brace yourself on the walk to the marina for very smelly drains & cracked & broken paving. H&S not on the priority list for the local council!

Kalimera Travellers!! This hotel is phenomenal in all ways. Fantastic facilities, staff and food. We had the best and most relaxing time. I always say we would love to get everyone’s name but it’s impossible. However, we do try to attain the names of the staff who make our holiday a unique time. Every member of staff from the moment we arrived until we left was smiley, chatty and happy to help. That’s more remarkable as it’s coming to the end of a long season but the professionalism was on point. Kostas Doukas is an incredible Maitre D’ Hotel and his team are a reflection of him. Nikol, Christina, Dimitris and Elini (the omelette magician) were excellent. Every breakfast was a pleasure. We usually only do breakfast but due to a storm we tried the evening dinner buffet, wow!! The selection of food was amazing with much of it cooked or carved in front of you. The selection was ridiculously good for mass catering. We went another few times after the first experience. Panos was top notch and the lady whose name we didn’t get was happy to tell you how dishes were made, from which country, the ingredients and all this while she was carving and grilling. The gentleman who was always restocking took time to provide sound advice on which desserts he would choose if he was a guest. The outside grill from 12 until 3 was so so good. There really is too much too say. Happy to answer questions anyone might have. Beaches are great, pool also fab and the spa was a place of real relaxation. We stayed in a room in the main hotel. Our room was lovely and modern and very clean and spacious. The bathroom was a little dark, but it was spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast is wonderful, lots of choice, fruit, pastries and hot food, it has everything. The evening buffet is lovely too, we were only b&b but paid for the buffet for 4 nights. The salad is lovely and fresh and the olives are delicious! The puddings are so tasty too, lots of choice! There is a bit of a walk into the nearest town, Gouvia, think it took us about 30 minutes. There are some restaurants closer by but it is quite a dark walk in some parts. The Marina restaurant by the sea is lovely, it’s a very peaceful setting to eat lunch in. The Greek salad is amazing! Lots of feta and the tomatoes are so nice! We went end of September and there were always plenty of sunbeds to choose from on the beach and by the pool. We preferred it on the beach. The pool was a little cool at times and one you need to keep moving in! It’s certainly refreshing though! Going late September it’s probably to be expectd! The jacuzzi pool in the spa area is also a bit cold too, it would be nice if that was a bit warmer. Taxis in to Corfu town are 25-30 euros each way so if you want to go in for a meal in the evening it is quite expensive, we only did this once due to the price. We were told by fellow guests that there is a bus you can go on but we just decided it was easier to eat at the buffet or walk towards Gouvia, so we neve figured out where to get this from and to etc. The hotel put on a free shuttle to and from Corfu town twice a day which was great, we went in on the 9:30am shuttle one day. Being able to watch sunrise from the beach was amazing too. All the staff were wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. Thanks for a fabulous holiday.

I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, both work and leisure and usually they have some fault or other issue. But I’ve finally found one that is fault free. I looked hard but everything has been thought about, lovely room with all amenities, friendly staff,excellent food and fantastic views across to Albania. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay for 2 weeks! Many thanks for your Corfiot hospitality, we’ll be back!

A lovely 7 nights here! We stayed in a sea view room (626), which had a fantastic view across the bay. It was right at the end of a corridor so was lovely and quiet. However, it was down a flight of stairs with no lift - that was fine for us, but will be a consideration for anybody with mobility issues. There are only around 8 rooms down here, there are other sea view rooms with level access. The beds were super comfy, and the shower was really powerful and always hot. All the hotel staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you - a big shout out to the cleaning staff - they work so hard and are really friendly. The breakfast was great - loads of choice. We were breakfast only, so on the 1st night we paid €40 each to do the buffet - lots of choice and nice. We also did the two speciality restaurants - both of them were brilliant - gorgeous food and pleasant staff. We also went to the restaurant next door (Bruno’s) which I recommend (book online), and also went to Taverna Kerkyra at the top of the road - nice traditional Greek food at a decent price. We also got a taxi to the marina (€20) and went to Olympus Mare to see the sun set which was excellent. The pool area is lovely, but there’s the usual problem of people reserving sun beds and not actually using them! Suggestion is to control this better. Also, some of the “deck chairs” around the gardens could be replaced with more sun beds. We also saw people taking multiple beach towels - like 4 per person in some cases! The poor pool staff were forever replacing them. This must go against the hotel’s environmental policy (washing), so the hotel needs to implement a 1 towel per person rule. You get a ticket to swap for one towel. Another small improvement the hotel could make - additional Dumbells in the gym - they jump from 8kg to 15kg. In summary - a fantastic hotel, clean and comfy, lovely staff, brilliant food. I’d definitely come back asap!

Наша комната была на 5 этаже с видом на лагуну . Балконом вечером практически невозможно было воспользоваться, так как очень жарко. Мы брали формулу завтрак и ужин . Все было вкусно. На завтрак можно добавить домашнюю выпечку . Не было ни чего душевного в этом плане . Отель представляет бесплатный автобус , на котором можно выехать в город . Отель подойдет для людей с ограниченными физическими возможностями. У нас остались прекрасные впечатления и воспоминания . Вернемся с удовольствием ! Спасибо всему персоналу отеля .

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Kontokali Bay Resort and it really was beautiful, customer service here was incredible all the staff are very polite & helpful and I must include our housekeeper Attimis in this review because she was so hard working and greeted us with a huge smile and a kind word every morning. The hotel has 5 different locations where you can relax and soak up the sun - the pool area, 2 private beaches, the decking area plus a decking strip on the seafront all with plenty of comfy sunbeds, tables and parasols. Breakfast was set out really nicely with lots of different foods to try all of which was delicious. The hotel provided a free bus into Corfu town at 9.30am and returns at 1.30pm which I highly recommend as Corfu town is a delight to visit with loads of shops, bars and restaurants. There was various evening entertainment in the hotel throughout our stay which was good we did feel that drinks in the bar were a little expensive however the bar service was great, we had a wonderful holiday so if your looking for peace & tranquility with a beautiful beach and pool area and great service throughout this is the place to stay.

Just returned from a fantastic 10 days at Kontokali resort. Wow. Rooms, service , location ; the best we've ever stayed in. Food was delicious. Great variety. Staff , extremely helpful, friendly and helped you to feel settled and appreciated.

Excellent hotel we could not fault. Lovely spacious room with welcome bottle of red wine, water, coffee capsules etc. Huge swimming pool, lovely beach with loads of sun loungers. Buffet breakfast outstanding selection. Meals at night high quality and very nice. Lovely staff all friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend. We did the shuttle to Corfu town which we enjoyed and hired a car to get out and explore which we did in the hotel from the Hertz lady. Great holiday! Def recommend this hotel!

A lovely hotel, very clean and staff very friendly. Lovely position and outstanding views Breakfast was nice but drinks afterwards a little expensive. Would have been nice to offer a drinks package or something Entertainment wasn’t great too so it was very quiet at night with little atmosphere which was a shame

We came home on Friday after a fantastic 10 night stay. The hotel is beautiful and immaculate, amazing food and drinks and exceptional staff. We stayed in a garden room which was perfect, really spacious and excellent air con (complimentary). Glad we didn’t upgrade to a sea or bay room - really no need in our opinion! Special shout out to Giannis at the Marina Food court. He knew our regular drink and food order, and our room number (734) without asking and he was so lovely. The two gentlemen at breakfast were delightful and the lovely young lady who served us our morning lattes and afternoon beers by the pool was so smiley and friendly- shame we didn’t get to say goodbye on our last day. The spa was a special treat and Kiki gave the best massages I have ever had - what a kind and gorgeous lady - the highlight of my trip. Should also mention the incredible breakfast buffet! Different choices every day and the biggest selection of cooked food, cereals, fruit, bread, pastries I’ve ever seen… just amazing. Corfu Old Town is an easy bus journey away and well worth visiting in the evenings for drinks and dinner. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful 10 days in beautiful Corfu - we hope to return one day.

Just returned from our sixth visit to this wonderful hotel. We received a warm welcome back from Constantina in reception and we soon discovered that all the staff continue to be friendly and efficient. Special mention to Costas and his team in the Horizon restaurant where the food continues to be of a very high standard. Valentina in particular was exceptional. Ben, Angela and all the bar staff, especially Tassos, provided outstanding service. We loved our room with a private pool. Air conditioning was perfect and the room was always cleaned immaculately on a daily basis. The location of the hotel is superb, right on the beach, and it's so convenient to order and be served drinks and snacks without moving from your sunbeds. We celebrated our 56th Wedding Anniversary at the fine dining Asterias restaurant where after a delicious chateaubriand we were presented with a special Anniversary cake. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for a wonderful holiday. We look forward already to our seventh visit.

Second visit to Kontokali this time in August with the family 6 adults 2 children 8 yrs and 18 months As we had experienced the hotel as a couple last year we were happy to see standards still high Cleanliness, happy helpful staff and good food ( only had breakfast and bought lunch there most days at marina bar) Everything cooked fresh and lots of choice Bit of feedback - just personal feelings and hope you dont take me being too critical Me and my husband love the beach so we were not affected by this but i think the swimming pool is too small for the hotel size particularly in august when lots of families there My daughters family struggled for sunbeds round the pool probably not an issue if you are there out of high season The walk to the marina was difficult for the children and pram due to the many holes in the road and pavement ( be aware no pavement on road leading to hotel) this is nothing to do with the hotel but something to be aware of You definitely need a torch at night to show up the holes and be careful We had a great holiday and recommend this hotel fully

Niko was absolutely amazing therapist, I had a full body deep massage for 55mins with him and it was absolutely fantastic, I also went for a foot massage with him and this was also very very good. Very professional & the spa itself is unreal, the staff are all so welcoming x you leave there feeling absolutely relaxed and rejuvenated. Many thanks to you all x I definitely recommend

This is a fantastic hotel. Its set on the beach and its beautiful. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had a friendly welcome from all the staff. Id highly recommend the spa and a cretan massage, my therapist Kiki was was amazing. Our rooms were spotless and you get water everyday and a welcome bottle of wine. Id highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay was absolutely spectacular! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The resort is beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and always willing to help, the food is very good, and the private beach is simply wonderful. - - Overall, it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Everything was so well taken care of that we honestly have nothing negative to point out. -

What a magical holiday! The hotel is located by the beach and the scenery is stunning. There are two private beaches and several swimming pools. The half board is sensational and the hotel is very flexible to change it to either lunch or dinner based on your plans. The spa is gorgeous, especially the pool at the spa. For us the best part was the staff, from the reception, to the restaurant, bar, cleaning team and chefs. Everyone was super friendly and sooo helpful! Greek hospitality was outstanding and we can’t wait to come back again.
