Fantastic hotel with comfortable and clean rooms conveniently located across the road from the beach and a short walk from the old town of Corfu. Buffet breakfast and dinner had a large and varied selection. Hotel staff were readily available to assist.

The hotel was absolutely marvelous. I would rate it with 11 but it's impossible, so I'll give it a 10. Breakfasts were delicious, there was a wide range of food. Waiters were serving coffee at the table, which was very kind. I had my beakfast ar the terrace with a picturesque view of the sea. The staff was amazing - helpful, kind and friendly. One can also enjoy dinner there, while listening to live music The room was always kept clean and neat. The location is perfect, close to the old town, swimming spot and the airport. I loved the experience. Very elegant place.

Fantastic location in Corfu city very close to old city. Excellent staff very friendly especially Costas dinning room manager exceptional customer service and also Efi who served us diligently. Parking is a bit tricky but as we had a small car we managed as it’s very narrow streets in Corfu. The breakfast is simply bliss wonderful variety of options excellent salads and sweets simply delicious. Dinner is just too good and as we were hotel guests we only paid 20€ per person for absolutely delicious meal with a glass of red or white wine. The only cons of this hotel was the bathrooms very old and water pressure very low especially for hot water that’s leaves u with a little sour taste. Every evening there is some artist performance singing or instrumental so one can just sit back and relax and rewind after a day full of amazing beaches. We will definitely visit again. - Location, staff, breakfast and dinner

We were returning guests to Mon Repos and found trouble with the AC in our 3 rooms booked. Though it was disturbing as we wereIn mid July with high temperatures, Veronika and her team were excellent at resolving the issue. They did their very best and were successful with the resolution. Happy guests! Thank you for the efforts and the excellent stay!Rooms4.0Service5.0Location5.0Hotel highlightsQuiet

MIXED REVIEWSI guess like me, you take positive reviews for granted and are actually more interested in the critical reviews. Well, here’s the honest opinion of the Mon Repos Hotel from someone who has traveled the world first class over many years. The good outweighs the bad here with 5 star service from experienced staff in classical surroundings within walking distance of Corfu town.I’ll start with the negatives, the small pool, balconies and bathrooms are all functional, but if you are looking for an Olympic sized pool, balcony with sun-bed and usually spend hours with your ablutions, look elsewhere. An alternative to the pool is the clear and clean sea just across the road. Free sun-beds are available right next to the beach in the grounds of the windmill cafe opposite the hotel providing you buy a drink. All bathroom fittings worked OK but the chrome looks tired and a refit is necessary in the long term.Beds and pillows are comfy, there’s a hairdryer with defuser and the excellent AC works 24 hrs even with the patio doors open. There is also a coffee machine with pods but no kettle. - we took our own plus favourite tea-bags.The balcony view is world class in rooms on the third floor at the front or overlooking the town, bay and fortress. We had room 334 at the end and the only other with one neighbouring room on the front is room 328 at the other end.Walls are paper thin and all intimate goings-on can be heard through the night.Special mention goes to the staff, especially Kostas and his restaurant colleagues. Breakfast selection is vast and an omelet chef will cook to your preference. The evening buffet is a bargain at €20 for as much as you can eat including a glass of good wine. The three nearby tavernas were more expensive and their food was not as good. The entertainment is locally sourced and the highlight for us was the sax player on Wednesday. This is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and the housekeeping staff work really hard. Bird poo was cleaned immediately after reporting it to reception. W

We loved our stay here at Mon Repos. The staff are very friendly , the breakfast was excellent! The only down side was the pool was very small and the rooms were dated and need modernising. Across from the hotel is a lovely area / beach which was brilliant and we went there a lot. Walk to the town is about 20 mins and if not there is a bus that can take you there

Great place to stay in Corfu. Loved the location opposite the beach and short walk to the town. Great service and breakfasts. Loved the live music and fun night watching the soccer with everyone. Thank you Siozios & team for a lovely break. We will be back.

Soundproofing is non-existent as walls are paper thin and all sorts of intimate goings-on can be heard with the comings and goings in nearby rooms. Special mention goes to the staff, especially the maître d'hôtel - ‘Kostas’ and his well trained catering staff. Breakfast selection is vast and an omelet chef will cook to your preference. The evening buffet is a bargain at €20 for as much as you can eat including a glass of good local wine. The three nearby tavernas we tried were more expensive and the quality of their food was inferior. The hotel entertainment is locally sourced and the highlight for us was the sax player who plays on a Wednesday. This is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and the housekeeping staff work really hard. Bird poo on the balcony floor was cleaned immediately after reporting it to reception. We were also visited by the maintenance team for a routine plumbing check and to fit fresh AC filters which is apparently a regular service to keep this lovely old building running smoothly. I tried a back massage with the in-house therapist and the wife received a complimentary mini facial from a very experienced professional. It’s a lovely walk around the bay to the main town and this took us two old codgers about 20 minutes (not bad for an octogenarian), and returning to the hotel on the local bus (number 2A) cost just €2.40 for us both. We pre-booked a courtesy room at reception to freshen-up on our last day, and a Mercedes Taxi was also booked for the Airport transfer. The Lady driver charged us 15 euros for the trip. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful Hotel, and will recommend it to those preferring authentic quality.

We ve stayed here for a couple of nights and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is close to the airport (you can walk if you re daring) but not too close. Very peaceful area. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The restaurant / terrace space is beautiful. The room was nice (a/c was working without any issues) but I would have preferred it to have been a bit larger. The breakfast and dinner was delicious - lots of fresh vegetables and fruit (buffet dinner is 20 Eur per person which is a pretty good deal). The only drawvack is that the pool area is a bit small and does not have that many sun beds. As the hotel was full when we stayed, sometimes it was hard to get a hold of a sun bed. But there is a public beach nearby so you have options.Rooms4.0Service5.0Location5.0

The service was the best we've experienced anywhere, especially the restaurant staff....Efie in particular. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection and we also enjoyed a couple of evening buffets too, with a variety of live entertainment. The bathrooms could do with a bit of an upgrade but the view from our room, No 331 more than made up for it.
